PostPak – COD parcel for the region - Packing Instructions

PostPak – COD parcel for the region

Send a COD parcel in the region, pay cash on delivery.

The parcel must contain addresses of its sender and recipient and the COD amount.

The dimensions and weight of parcels for abroad depend on the conditions of the designated postal operator of the destination country.

Each parcel must be packed so it suits its weight, shape, content, size, indicated value and the manner and length of its transfer.

The parcel may be packed in the sender’s own packaging (wrapper, box, chest, bag) or in the original packaging, of general and special purposes, of various shapes and sizes, purchased in post offices. Packaging for special purposes from three-layer cardboard is planned for packaging of bottles, projects, pictures, calendars, etc.

The parcel is delivered open at the post office counter.

The sender is responsible for the proper packaging and closing of the parcel. Packing and closing must protect the content so that it can not be damaged by pressure and consecutive handling. It is necessary to leave enough space on the packaging or on the wrapper to print the official labels and for postal stickers.

Dimensions and addressing

Parcel dimensions depend on the conditions defined by the authorized postal operator of the destination country.

The smallest dimensions of the address side of the parcel are 9 cm x 14 cm.

Maximum parcel dimensions: the sum of the length and perimeter of the package measured at the widest point across can be at most 300 cm, with the largest dimension not exceeding 150 cm.

The recipient's address is printed in the bottom right part, the address of the sender in the upper left part of the address side of the parcel. On the cover, the parcel must contain full addresses of its sender and recipient, written clearly, in Latin letters and Arabic numbers.

  • various types of dry powder must first be packed into a container made of metal, wood, resilient plastic material, and then these containers should be placed in the firm, resistant box made of wood, metal, plastic, etc., with appropriate absorbent and protective substances between the two packages (sawdust and similar).
