Court letters are letters containing court documents and documents in administrative and misdemeanor proceedings, such as summonses, decisions, rulings, conclusions and other official documents sent by courts, public prosecutors' offices, misdemeanor authorities, military institutions and other state authorities, when acting in the aforementioned proceedings. Court letters are delivered, as a rule, as registered letters with the use of the additional service of returning the return receipt for registered postal items. Court letters cannot be addressed to poste restante, except in the case of court orders.
For court letters weighing over 20 grams, the weight must be indicated on the postal item. Court letters can weigh up to 2 kilograms.
