Parcels are transported from one place to another within 2 to 5 working days, depending on the delivery area: 2 working days for urban, 3 working days for rural, and 5 working days for remote delivery areas.

Delivery areas are divided into:

• urban delivery area – where the universal postal service is performed every working day, not less than 5 days a week, except in cases of public and other holidays, force majeure, or threat to the health and safety of employees;
• rural delivery area – where the universal postal service is performed at least two times a week;
• remote delivery area – where the universal postal service is performed at least once a week.

Delivery deadline does not include: the date of the postal item reception, days when the post office is closed or when it does not perform the delivery of items, and days of public and religious holidays that are celebrated in the Republic of Serbia.
