Court letter - Delivery Time

Time limits for the delivery of postal items refer to the time from the receipt of the postal item to the delivery to the recipient. The Post is obliged to deliver all received postal items to recipients in Serbia within a period not exceeding five working days.

There are no guaranteed delivery time limits for postal items in international postal traffic.

The time limits for the delivery of postal items within the scope of the universal postal service do not include: the day of receipt, days when the post office is closed or does not perform the delivery of postal items, and days of state and religious holidays celebrated in the Republic of Serbia. Additionally, the time limits do not include the time of delay due to incomplete or incorrect address of the recipient, force majeure, or traffic jams that occurred through no fault of the Post of Serbia.

When calculating delivery time limits, all postal items for which delivery has been attempted are considered delivered.

If the item is received after the last dispatch of items from the post office, the delivery time limits are extended by one working day, of which the sender is immediately notified upon posting. If the letterpost item is placed in the mailbox after the scheduled time of the last emptying, the time limit is extended by one working day.
