If you are sending samples, advertising material, or goods of commercial character, the postal item must be submitted for customs clearance.

During submission, these items are submitted open.

There are several ways of carrying out customs procedure.

Submitting the items with advertising material and samples

Items containing advertising material and samples can be submitted in any post office. Along with the items containing advertising material and samples, the sender also submits the “Statement for import of advertising material and samples”, with proforma invoice or some other commercial, official, or bookkeeping document attached.

Submitting the items when customs procedure is carried out independently

Items containing goods of the commercial character are submitted along with the “SAD” form (Single Administrative Document) for carrying out the customs procedure only in customs post offices in Belgrade, Novi Sad, and Nis.

Submitting the items upon the completion of customs procedure

Items for which the customs procedure is completed can be submitted in any post office, on the same day upon the completion of customs procedure, along with the “SAD” form.
