The Post and Criminal Police University signed Cooperation Agreement
Acting Director of the Post of Serbia Zoran Đorđević and the Rector of the Criminal Police University in Belgrade prof. Zoran Đurđević, PhD, signed today the Agreement on cooperation between PE Post of Serbia and the Criminal Police University, which will provide additional training to employees in the field of security and protection, defence and emergency situations at the Post of Serbia.
The implementation of this Agreement envisages that employees in the field of security and protection at the Post of Serbia acquire new knowledge and obtain additional skills necessary for organizing personal and mutual protection, implementation of civil protection and rescue measures and emergency management. Also, additional education will provide a more efficient system of protection and saving the lives of employees and customers, material goods, more efficient conditions for conducting postal activities in emergency situations and increasing employees' readiness to adequately respond to normalization of work processes and continuous postal activities.
“By further training of employees, the Post of Serbia undertakes adequate measures and procedures in order to raise the level of security of employees and property, especially in the application of preventive measures, as well as improving the technical protection system, expanding existing and introducing new solutions. Having in mind the activities it deals with, the territorial distribution, as well as the importance of the Post as a large technical system, continuous trainings of employees in security and protection are one of the key parameters for establishing corporate security“, said Zoran Đorđević, Acting Director of the Post of Serbia.
