New umbrella contract as a model of better conditions for cooperation
PE Post of Serbia initiated a meeting with the Chambers of Lawyers, the Notary Chamber and the Chamber of Enforcement Officers, to present a new umbrella contract that would provide more favourable conditions when it comes to the services of the Post to lawyers, enforcement officers and notaries.
At the meeting, it was agreed to improve cooperation with all Chambers of Lawyers, the Chamber of Enforcement Officers and the Notary Chamber, and an offer was presented to install an Electronic admission book, i.e. a free application used by a large number of courts in Serbia. This application facilitates the receipt of items and ensures their tracking at all stages.
Also, upon the initiative of the Belgrade Chamber of Lawyers, as it was agreed earlier, this meeting was used to inform other Chambers of Lawyers that the Post of Serbia will act in accordance with the Agreement with the High Judicial Council and the State Council of Prosecutors when delivering court letters and letters in administrative and misdemeanour proceedings, it will enable "the addressee has travelled" option as one of the reasons for non-delivery.
Joint meetings and workshops have been announced for the next period.
