The Posts of Serbia and Turkey concluded a Memorandum of Cooperation
The Memorandum of Cooperation between the Post of Serbia and Turkish Post was signed today in Belgrade by the Acting Director of the Post of Serbia, Zoran Đorđević, and the General Director of Turkish Post, Hakan Gülten. The Memorandum establishes long-term cooperation on the optimization of postal services, exchange of knowledge and experiences on international e-commerce platforms, as well as in the segment of electronic money transfer.
“We are pleased to join this partnership, recognizing the exceptional importance and benefits that both sides will have in the short term. The memorandum is the umbrella document of long-term cooperation and opens the paths for new e-commerce channels, faster and safer exchange of postal items and a strong presence in the international e-commerce market. Turkey is an important partner of our country, with which the highest level of cooperation has been achieved. In the growing market of online trade, we will offer high quality and innovative services, in order to jointly conquer the market of the region and beyond. With the progress in digitalization, regular and reliable channels of transport of postal items through the national airlines, we have all the preconditions for success, new jobs and new revenues”, said Director Zoran Đorđević.
Since May, the Post of Serbia has concluded several agreements on cooperation with the Post of Republic of Srpska (Poste Srpske) and the Post of North Macedonia, and established technical cooperation with the Post of Slovenia on the implementation of projects in the field of digitalization and eGovernment.
