The Post’s support for a monograph on the Serbian police history

The Post of Serbia supported the project of the University of criminal investigation and police studies in Zemun, on the research of archival material and the preparation of a monograph on the history of the Serbian police, on the occasion of marking the centenary of police education in Serbia. Zoran Djordjević, Acting Director of the Post of Serbia, and Prof. Zoran Djurdjević, PhD, Rector of the University, signed an agreement today on the the Post’s support to this project.

"The Post of Serbia is actively taking on its socially responsible role in the field of supporting the development of higher education and scientific research, and our plan is to expand cooperation in all fields of mutual interest." I would like to point out another very important segment of intensive cooperation with police professionals for us - joint work on making post offices safer. Thanks to that cooperation, members of the police successfully and quickly solve cases of robberies in post offices, while our clerks and customers are much safer", said Zoran Djordjević, Acting Director of the Post of Serbia.

After signing the contract, the rector, Prof. Zoran Djurdjević introduced Djordjević to the work and future projects of this higher education institution and expressed gratitude to the Post of Serbia for its support in making a monograph with which the University of criminal investigation and police studies will mark an important jubilee.
