Post and Secondary Technical PTT School to implement dual education
Acting Director of the Post of Serbia, Zoran Djordjević, and the Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development, Branko Ružić, visited today the Secondary Technical PTT School, which joined the project of dual education. On this occasion, Zoran Djordjević and the Director of the school, Goran Stanojević, signed the agreement on dual education, which will provide students with practical training at the Post of Serbia.
Minister Ružić expressed satisfaction with the achieved cooperation. "I thank Zoran Djordjević for the initiative he launched, which we in the Ministry wholeheartedly supported. This year, according to the initiative of the Post of Serbia, we have a new educational profile - a technician of postal traffic and telecommunications, and another profile is planned for next year, a technician for telecommunications. This is the right way to train staff at the earliest age, who, I am convinced, will work in the PE Post of Serbia in the future. This model really shows significant quality and brings benefits to both the economy and education ", said Branko Ružić.
"During my first visit to this school after I took office in March, I learned that the school does not have an agreement with the Post, which would enable students to do professional practice at the Post of Serbia. Thanks to the understanding and commitment of Minister Ružić, we have achieved cooperation beyond deadlines and possibilities, and this year we have certified instructors, who are ready to transfer knowledge to these young people and hold practical classes. The future of the Post is with these young people, while it is important for them to know that immediately after finishing school, they will have the opportunity to apply for an employment and get a job, starting next year," said Zoran Djordjević.
Starting from this year's first grade generation, students of the Secondary Technical PTT School will have the opportunity to acquire and improve practical skills and competencies important for their professional development through work under the professional supervision of instructors at the Post of Serbia, in a real work environment. Earlier this year, the Post of Serbia concluded an agreement on dual education with the Academy of Technical and Art Applied Studies, with the same opportunities for students of this higher education institution.
