Meeting between Director Đorđević and Ambassador Schieb
H.E. Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Serbia, Thomas Schieb, and Zoran Đorđević, Acting Director of the Post of Serbia, discussed today the planned investments in further automation and digitalization of postal processes, which the Post of Serbia could implement in partnership and with the consulting support of the Post of Germany.
“Germany is among the global leaders in advanced technologies and we are looking forward to establishing even stronger ties with the Post of Germany. We are open to all forms of cooperation aiming at exchanging experiences and advanced technological practices, as well as further automation and modernization of the Post of Serbia”, said Zoran Đorđević and added that the reform of postal technology and processes in Serbia should be based on innovations, modern and “green” information and communication technologies, as well as environmentally friendly solutions for the transport of postal items.
Additionally, the Post of Serbia plans to expand and activate all logistics and transport capacities, following the example of German solutions, which will follow the development of the European market.
