Procurement of new modern bicycles for postmen by the end of the year
PE Post of Serbia, a company with the largest national bicycle network, supported the European Championship in mountain biking, which was officially opened tonight in Novi Sad at the Petrovaradin Fortress. The opening ceremony was also attended by the Acting Director of the Post of Serbia, Zoran Đorđević, who on this occasion announced the purchase of new bicycles for delivery of postal items.
"The Post of Serbia has the largest organized bicycle network in the country, which is used for the delivery of postal items, mostly in Vojvodina. That is why one of our priorities is to improve and modernize the postal network by the end of the year by purchasing nearly 800 new state-of-the-art bicycles, standard and electric, which will provide our postmen with better working conditions and customers with better service. At the same time, by highlighting ecological delivery methods, we protect and take care of the environment for the benefit of all citizens. Also, the Post of Serbia, as a socially responsible company, supports the development of sports and initiatives that improve awareness of the benefits of physical activity and promote healthy lifestyles. Cycling, as a sport for all generations and an activity that connects the citizens of our country through the network of the Post of Serbia, has a special significance for us.“, said Zoran Đorđević, Acting. Director of the Post of Serbia.
The European Mountain Biking Championship will last until August 15 at the Petrovaradin Fortress, and Serbia is the first country in history to organize it in the region, with the help of, among others, the Post of Serbia, as one of the official sponsors.
