The most modern POS terminals in all post offices in Serbia
Acting Director of the PE Post of Serbia Zoran Đorđević and the President of the Board of Directors of the Postal Savings Bank Bojan Kekić, MPhil, signed an Agreement today which marks the beginning of the operationalization of the procurement of more than 2,000 new POS terminals that will be installed in all post offices in Serbia.
“Introducing the most modern POS terminals in all post offices in Serbia, as well as the replacement of old devices, is an important part of the realization of the plan of accelerated digitalization of services, which is one of the primary development goals of the Post of Serbia, that we are realizing with the support of the Government of the Republic of Serbia. In this way, we will provide citizens with greater reliability and shorter transaction times, as well as modern forms of payment with credit cards in all parts of the country”, said Zoran Đorđević, Acting Director of the Post of Serbia.
Đorđević added that todays Agreement represents new era in business relations between Post of Serbia and the Postal Savings Bank, all with the aim of digitalization and introduction of new technologies. "Our priority is our citizens, so it is important that we cooperate and introduce new services," emphasized Đorđević.
“This Agreement enables the Postal Savings Bank to reach its clients through post office counters in the places where it does not have a branch”, said Bojan Kekić, MPhil, the President of the Board of Directors of the Postal Savings Bank.
„By installing the latest generation of POS terminals, our clients, but also all citizens of Serbia, will be able to receive the highest quality service in the extensive network of the Post, which will also contribute to the development of the national DINA payment card”, said Kekić and specially pointed out the significance of the cooperation with the Post of Serbia for all shareholders of the Postal Savings Bank.
