Posts of Serbia and North Macedonia intensify cooperation

Acting Director of PE Post of Serbia Zoran Đorđević during the working visit  to the Post of North Macedonia JSC, met today with Director General of the Post of North Macedonia Jani Makraduli, where they talked about the possibilities and directions of improving strategic cooperation between the Posts of two countries and agreed on the grounds for signing the Memorandum on Understanding soon in Belgrade.

Đorđević then met with the members of the Board of Directors of the Post of North Macedonia, and after that visited the premises of the main postal centre in Skopje.

“Republic of Serbia and Republic of North Macedonia have intensified friendship and cooperation in recent years, as well as the communication among top officials. This relationship contributes to the improvement of the region and therefore the Posts of Serbia and North Macedonia are actively working on the development of new joint projects and operational plans, which will enable the improvement of postal and logistics services, exchange of experts and information and transfer of good practice examples. Our joint goal is a stronger connection of our citizens, as well as of our economies”, said Acting Director Đorđević after the visit ended.

Agreements have recently been reached with public postal operators of the Republic of Srpska and Republic of Slovenia, by signing the Protocol on business cooperation with the Post of Srpska and by defining the framework for the future technical cooperation with the Post of Slovenia on the realization of projects in the field of digitalization, which is also one of the priorities of the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
