Registration for the new 30,000 vouchers for holidays in Serbia begins
At the counters of all 1,307 corporate post offices throughout Serbia, on Tuesday, July 6, the registration of applications of interested citizens and the submission of documentation shall begin for the allocation of new 30,000 vouchers for holidays in Serbia, in the amount of 5,000 dinars each.
Since the beginning of the year, through this incentive measure, the Government of the Republic of Serbia has invested 600 million dinars in Serbian tourism, by distributing 120,000 vouchers in two cycles. Last week, the Serbian government set aside an additional 150 million dinars for new 30,000 holiday vouchers for domestic destinations in the third application cycle, with over 2,000 accommodation facilities offered.
In addition to registration, the Post of Serbia provides delivery of vouchers to the home addresses of customers in form of insured letters, while customers can as well call the Contact Centre of the Post of Serbia at 0700 100 300 to inquire about the status of their application and conditions for using vouchers.
The most desirable destinations so far were Sokobanja, Zlatibor, Vrnjačka Banja, Sijarinska Banja, Ribarska Banja, Gornja Trepča, Divčibare, Kopaonik, Banja Vrujci and Banja Koviljača. The fact that in the second cycle, in May, all 20,000 applications were recorded at post office counters in less than two hours speaks volumes about the great interest of citizens for this initiative.
