Post of Serbia Commemorated the Victory Day

On the Victory Day – 9 May, the edifice of the Main Post in Belgrade was illuminated in red, to honour the memory of the glorious victory of Serbia and its ally members of the antifascist coalition, won in the Second World War, in glory of a vast number of the fallen victims in liberation of our fatherland.

The jubilatory year 2020 was marked by the Post of Serbia’s commemorative postal stamp series titled 75 Years of the Victory Over Fascism, 9 May – Victory Day (1945-2020), issued on 9 May 2020. The issue was prepared in cooperation with the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs, and initiated by Aleksandar Vučić, the President of the Republic of Serbia.
