Full Transition to “Green” Fleet - Priority of the Post of Serbia
Cost rationalisation, security of the company drivers and environmentally sound business operations are the basic priorities of future development of the PE Post of Serbia fleet, said today Zoran Đorđević, the Acting Director of the Enterprise in conversation with the managers of the Working Unit “Facility, Vehicles and Fixed Assets Maintenance”.
In step with the commitment of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the Post will modernise its transportation fleet with hybrid and electric vehicles, and the existing system of vehicles purchase will be replaced with procurement by leasing according to the practice which proved to be most economical, announced Acting Director Đorđević.
“In accordance with its top-priority business objectives, modernisation and advance in quality of service, the Post of Serbia is completely changing the development approach in all the business segments. Some of the key steps in this process are also the increase of efficiency and complete orientation to more environment-friendly solutions in fleet development, with increased security of our company drivers”, pointed out Acting Director Đorđević.
The first step in increasing the fleet efficiency is introduction of dispatching principle in distribution of the company vehicles, which would enable better availability of vehicles to all the employees, with cost reduction and time saving.
