Exchange of memorandums between Pošta Srbije and Post of Angola

As part of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Angola, His Excellency João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço, to the Republic of Serbia, an exchange of several bilateral documents was held today at the Palace of Serbia, further enhancing cooperation between the two friendly countries in areas of common interest.

Among the documents exchanged in the presence of the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, and the President of the Republic of Angola, João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço, is the Memorandum of Understanding between Pošta Srbije and the National Postal and Telegraph Company of Angola, which confirms the improvement of cooperation between the two postal operators.

The document establishing a framework for cooperation in the field of postal services was exchanged by the Director of Pošta Srbije, Zoran Anđelković, and the Minister of External Relations of the Republic of Angola, Tete António.

The signing and exchange of the Memorandum were preceded by talks between delegations of the two postal administrations held at the end of May 2025 in Belgrade, when the directions of future cooperation and the agreed elements of this document were defined.

The Memorandum aims to encourage and improve cooperation between the two postal administrations in the areas of parcel export, e-commerce and professional development of employees, on the principles of equality, reciprocity and mutual benefit. The cooperation covers the exchange of postal services and items, including direct mail exchange, postal parcels, EMS items, philately, logistics and cargo services, postal financial and consulting services, as well as improving opportunities for training and technical and professional development of employees.

Pošta Srbije continues to develop international cooperation with postal operators worldwide, strengthening its position as a reliable partner and contributing to improving the quality of services for customers.
