Visits to Knjaževac and Bor and a meeting with the Mayor

Director Zoran Anđelković continues to visit working units and post offices across the country. During his visit to the areal units "Zaječar" and "Bor", the Director visited post offices in Knjaževac and Bor and spoke with employees and local self-government officials about the needs of citizens and the provision of postal services.

At the meeting with the Mayor of Knjaževac, Milan Đokić, the development of services and digital services and infrastructure was discussed. Anđelković emphasized that better conditions and infrastructure will be provided at the post office in Knjaževac. He presented new services and projects to the Mayor, and wanted to receive feedback from him on the functioning of public and communal services and the most urgent needs of citizens.

Despite the growing digitalization, however, it is very important to insist on equality, emphasized Director Anđelković. According to him, the population that is not fully keeping up with digital technologies will be provided with support so that they do not fall behind. "Primarily older citizens, as before, can rely on postal workers for help and support in the future, as was the case in the Svoj na svome project", said Anđelković.

With the new Director of the Areal Unit “Bor”, Bobana Gramić, Director Anđelković discussed business operations, new services, and plans for the modernization of branches in the city and the wider area.

In a conversation with employees, Director Anđelković was interested in working conditions, service provision, and possible difficulties in daily functioning.
