Memorandum of Understanding concluded with Czech Post
The Memorandum of Understanding between the Post of Serbia and the Czech Post was signed by directors Zoran Anđelković and Miroslav Štěpán, as part of a working visit by a high-ranking delegation of the Post of Serbia to the headquarters of the Czech Post in Prague. The signing of the first memorandum of cooperation between the public postal operators of Serbia and the Czech Republic was attended by the Ambassador of Serbia to the Czech Republic, Berislav Vekić, and his associates.
As an umbrella agreement on cooperation, the memorandum will provide a framework for establishing business cooperation, activities and initiatives in areas of mutual interest, primarily in the field of development and improvement of services, as well as the exchange of information and experiences on national and international projects, and the development of innovative projects, products and services.
The cooperation includes joint activities and support in creating conditions for the development of postal, electronic and financial services and the exchange of information regarding regulations, standards and new technologies of the Universal Postal Union. The signatories will also provide mutual support in the professional development of employees, organizing and ensuring participation in seminars, conferences, forums and international events organized by them.
Continuing the visit, the delegation of the Post of Serbia visited the main building of the Czech Post and the Malešice Sorting Centre and held a separate meeting with Ambassador Vekić and representatives of the Embassy.
