Post of Serbia ready to welcome the new cycle of tourist vouchers

"It is a big thing to ensure the continuity of the distribution of vouchers and we will do everything possible to ensure that the entire process goes smoothly", said Zoran Anđelković, Acting Director of the Post of Serbia, in Sokobanja, on the occasion of the announcement of a new cycle of awarding 30,000 tourist vouchers worth 10,000 dinars each.

The Post of Serbia, together with the Ministry of Tourism and Youth, will organize education for citizens on how to properly fill out applications on April 11, 12 and 13 in Belgrade, at the stand of the Ministry and Post on the Republic Square, as well as in all post offices on April 14-15, where application forms will be available to all interested citizens.

Anđelković said that post offices throughout the country will be ready for the expected great interest from citizens, while the recording of applications will begin at the same time in all post offices and will be carried out under strict supervision.

Minister of Tourism and Youth Husein Memić announced that in the period from April 15 to 20, 30,000 vouchers worth 10,000 dinars each will be distributed in the first phase.

"We chose Sokobanja as the location for this announcement because 24,800 vouchers were used here last year, which speaks of the importance and popularity of this location among tourists. Together with the Post of Serbia, the Ministry of Tourism and Youth will take all necessary measures to prevent possible abuse and ensure that the vouchers reach those for whom they are truly intended", said Minister Memić.

Minister Memić added that the Ministry will organize education for citizens on how to properly fill out applications on April 11, 12 and 13, as the desire is for the entire process to be fair, efficient and transparent.

"Our goal is clear - strengthening domestic tourism, supporting the tourism sector and enabling more people to discover the natural beauties and tourist offers of our country", concluded Memić.

As in all previous cycles, the Post of Serbia will ensure fast and efficient delivery of vouchers in the form of insured letters to users' home addresses and, through the Contact Centre, provide information on the status of users' applications and the terms of use of vouchers.
