Visit to the Hungarian Post
The delegation of the Post of Serbia paid a working visit to Budapest and, with the new Director General of the Hungarian Post, Géza Láng, Director of Production Management László Nagy, and Head of the International Business Department, Adam Fucsko, discussed the course, activities and further plans for cooperation between the two postal administrations.
Director Zoran Anđelković and representatives of the management of the Post of Serbia gained insight into the work and processes of the processing of postal items at the logistics centre in Budapest, and then they visited the most representative branch in the very centre of the city.
The interlocutors discussed progress in implementing the bilateral cooperation agreement signed in August last year, under which they were recognized as designated operators for the mutual acceptance and delivery of cross-border parcels. This cooperation is primarily aimed at improving the transfer of parcels arriving from China via e-commerce, increasing the quality and speeding up the delivery process.
It was agreed to intensify business cooperation and further improvements in the area of cross-border parcel delivery and delivery to customers via Post’s parcel machines.
