Post of Serbia and Belgrade Tourist Organization’s Cooperation Protocol
Post of Serbia and the Tourist Organization of Belgrade signed a Protocol on Cooperation today, aimed at improving the cultural life and promoting the tourist potential of Belgrade. The signing ceremony was held at the Belgrade Fair, as part of the 46th International Tourism Fair and the 20th International Horeca Equipment Fair.
The Protocol was signed by the Acting Directors of the Post of Serbia, Zoran Anđelković, and the Tourist Organization of Belgrade, Miodrag Popović.
The agreement stipulates the joint publication of maps of Belgrade with marked post offices around the city, printing of postcards and other promotional materials that will contribute to the promotion of Belgrade and its tourist and cultural content, as well as the popularization of the PTT Museum.
Zoran Anđelković emphasized the importance of cooperation between the Post of Serbia and the Tourist Organization of Belgrade in popularizing Belgrade and tourism in Serbia. "Belgrade is developing rapidly, owing to the dynamic development of Serbia and Belgrade, thanks to the Government of the Republic of Serbia and President Aleksandar Vučić. Anyone who has not been in Belgrade for a long time cannot recognize it. We need postcards with more beautiful motifs of Belgrade, pictures of Belgrade Waterfront, Saint Sava Temple and other parts of our capital. A significant number of tourists love paper, they like to be left with something tangible, to be reminded of beautiful memories. Visitors of Belgrade will have access to maps with marked post offices, parcel machines, and perhaps a love to remember will happen in front of some post office", said Anđelković.
Miodrag Popović stated that TOB already cooperates with the Post of Serbia in many fields and that the signing of this Protocol is the beginning of a "friendship". "Our post offices have fast communication, which Belgrade's travel agencies use. This is the beginning of a beautiful friendship, which I hope will last for many years", said Popović.
This Protocol allows Belgrade to be promoted both through traditional media and modern channels, thereby contributing to the comprehensive promotion of the city, cultural and tourist content, as well as the modernization of visitor services.
