Reaction to the intrusion and closure of post offices south of the Ibar

In the latest attack on Serbs and the state of Serbia, the so-called Kosovo police raided early this morning the offices of the Post of Serbia south of the Ibar River, in Gračanica, Kosovo Polje, Lipljan and other places, as well as several institutions of the Serbian Government in Gračanica.

In his nationalist and fascist campaign, Kurti continues with violence and hatred towards the Serbian people, while the intensity of the hysteria of Pristina institutions is increasing with the latest moves against the Serbian community during the election campaign, but also before the change of administration in Washington on January 20.

The mass hysteria, to which Brussels is clearly not reacting, previously resulted in the closure of nine post offices in the north of the southern Serbian province in August last year. The Post of Serbia has been operating with difficulty since then, but has managed to ensure the delivery of salaries and pensions, and payment transactions, managing in various ways in the north of Kosovo and Metohija, relying on the post offices south of the Ibar River and reinforcing the post offices in Merdare, Jarinje and Končulj.

"The Post of Serbia has 250 employees in Kosovo and Metohija who will continue to receive their salaries and all benefits in the future. We worked in very difficult circumstances and fought in various ways, we ensured the payment of pensions and social benefits from January 3 to 6. We will do everything to reduce the additional pressure on our employees and so that citizens do not feel this latest blow to them and their lives. We will take on the additional burden, provide our services on the field and help our people survive in Kosovo and Metohija," said Zoran Anđelković on this occasion, Acting Director of the Post of Serbia.
