Renovated Post in Aranđelovac
This post office is located in a building that is almost a century old and is a protected cultural good.
Mira Petrović, Acting Director of PE Post of Serbia, today visited the post office 34300 Aranđelovac, which is, after four years of detailed renovation, again available to the users. This post office is located in a building that is almost a century old and is a protected cultural good.
"We did a great thing. In this representative facility, there are now conditions for work and ambience for customers at the European level. We invested a lot of money - more than 50 million dinars, which we believe will be an incentive for the local authorities in Aranđelovac to refurbish facades of important buildings. We also took care of people with disabilities, for which a lift was installed for easier access to our services. We are doing everything we can to improve the quality of life of our citizens, and this year we plan to adapt 55 post offices throughout Serbia, "said Mira Petrović, adding that a separate postal counter in the court building in Aranđelovac will start operating next week.
There are 37 employees at the post 34300 Aranđelovac. In addition to serving users at eight counters, they are also responsible for delivery of letter-post items to 12 areas and three specialized delivery areas.
The works included a complete adaptation of 550 square meters of the interior, refurbishing of the facade, and repairing of the damaged roof structure.
