Mira Petrović, Acting CEO of the Post of Serbia, opened three postal branches which will serve the inhabitants of Majdanpek and the surroundings.

One of them is downtown, near Grammar school, Technical school and Sports Centre ’6 August’, and 3,700 inhabitants will use its services, as well as 109 legal entities of this part of Majdanpek. The rest of the two are movable postal counters for customers in rural areas, in villages Vlaole with 600 inhabitants and Leskovo with about 350 inhabitants.

’The Post always responded to the projects which were useful for the citizens of Serbia. This time we offer full support to the initiative for the balanced regional development, which is performed by minister Milan Krkobabić and its final goal is that every village has a school, infirmary, post office, church and cooperative in order for it to survive, develop and offer perspective to young generations. We recognized the importance of the minister’s initiative ’500 Cooperatives for 500 Villages’, which attracts greater attention of the public, as well as the successfully realised initiative ’State of Serbia in villages of Serbia’, because those are concrete moves with which we contribute to the quality of life and business in smaller settlements’, said Mira Petrović in Majdanpek. Three newly opened service points of the Post of Serbia in Bor county are networked into a unique information and communication app PostTIS, so that customers will have all the postal and payment services, both classic and modern ones available.
