Trade Union of PTT Serbia held its Main Board meeting in Novi Sad
A meeting of the Main Board of the Trade Union of PTT Serbia was held in Novi Sad, which was attended by the Acting Director of the Post of Serbia, Zoran Anđelković.
At the meeting, a constructive discussion was held regarding current issues in the business operation of the Post of Serbia, the expansion of new services, the development of logistics capacities, as well as future plans.
Director Anđelković informed the representatives of the Union about the news related to the expansion of the network of parcel machines, plans for the robotization of regional postal and logistics centres, as well as plans for their renovation and the construction of new facilities necessary to improve the work process. He expressed optimism regarding the development of Post Express services and pointed out that the goal is to consolidate services and improve efficiency in the delivery of postal items.
A particularly important part of the discussion was devoted to the situation in Kosovo and Metohija. Director Anđelković provided guarantees that all employees in Kosovo and Metohija will keep their jobs and that work is being done to find an adequate solution so that the Post of Serbia can continue its work, including the hiring of new employees.
Union representatives had the opportunity to present constructive proposals to Anđelković that would help improve the work process, as well as to ask him questions to which he answered.
