Director Zoran Anđelković visited Sremska Mitrovica and Ruma
Zoran Anđelković, Acting Director of the Post of Serbia, with the executive directors Vladimir Šarić and Miloš Đurić, visited Sremska Mitrovica and Ruma.
In Sremska Mitrovica, they spoke with the mayor of Sremska Mitrovica, Branislav Nedimović. The purpose of the visit was to discuss strategic projects aimed at modernizing postal services and infrastructure. The topics of discussion were the expansion of cooperation and the search for space for a new postal hub in Sremska Mitrovica.
There was also talk about the state of the postal and commercial services market in this area, the results so far, proposals for improving the provision of services, especially delivery, new technologies and means of work, which will improve business results.
Anđelković also visited the main post office in Sremska Mitrovica and spoke with employees who are the main carriers of the postal system in the local community.
In Ruma, Anđelković met with the President of the Municipality of Ruma, Dušan Ljubišić, with whom he discussed the renovation of the post office and the further expansion of parcel machines on the territory of the municipality. These improvements will enable faster and more efficient distribution of mail, as well as integration with all services in the municipality, so that the citizens of the municipality can complete their obligations in one place.
"Ruma is one of the most beautiful cities in this part of Serbia. This visit represents an important step towards improving services and supporting local communities. I believe that the planned projects will bring tangible results for the citizens", said Anđelković.
After the conversation in the Municipality building, Anđelković, accompanied by the President, visited the post office in Ruma, where he spoke with the manager and employees.
Posta of Serbia aims to improve the customer experience and provide citizens with the best service. With over three hundred services, it wants them to be even more accessible to customers.
Today's visits to Sremska Mitrovica and Ruma are aimed at strengthening partnerships with local communities and continuous improvement of services provided throughout the country.
