Director Anđelković met with the Ambassador of Indonesia
Zoran Anđelković, Acting Director of the Post of Serbia, met with the Ambassador of Indonesia in the Republic of Serbia, His Excellency Mr. Mochammad Chandra Widya Yudha, with whom he discussed topics of mutual interest in the areas of strategic cooperation between the two posts.
This is the first meeting between the two officials, and the topic of the meeting was the future cooperation between the two posts in light of the upcoming visit of the Indonesian delegation to the Post of Serbia.
During the meeting with the ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia, which precedes the signing of the Memorandum, the Ambassador expressed satisfaction with the cooperation so far and emphasized the importance of strategic cooperation between the two posts, which sends a strong message of long-term friendship and successful cooperation.
"The continuity of our relations is historical; it is not just seven decades, but we are celebrating seven decades of good and successful cooperation. Serbia appreciates Indonesia's position in the world and admires its economic development and values the relationship Indonesia has towards the integrity of Serbia and the recognition of the politics that Serbia is leading," Anđelković said.
The Memorandum that will be signed will represent a key step in strengthening the cooperation between the two posts, with a special emphasis on modernization and quality improvement. The first step will be the issuing of a commemorative postage stamp on the occasion of 70 years of diplomatic relations between Serbia and Indonesia, which symbolizes the long-standing friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
