As of today, Post Office in Kostolac provides Postal Savings Bank services
Post of Serbia and Postal Savings Bank have joined forces to provide the citizens of Kostolac with access to comprehensive postal and banking services in one place.
This is the first post office that combines postal and banking services, and citizens can use services such as Post Express, currency exchange, payment of bills, withdrawal of funds, sending of parcels and letters, and various banking services such as opening accounts and cash loans. The Post’s parcel machine is also available to customers, a modern and practical solution for fast, easy and smart 24/7 delivery of parcels.
This cooperation is a significant step in improving the availability and quality of services. The Post of Serbia emphasized that this step is part of a broader strategy of improving financial services and that in the future, to the satisfaction of common customers, it will be extended to the territory of the entire Serbia.
The official opening was attended by representatives of both institutions who emphasized the importance of this step in improving the quality of services. Director of Payment Operations and Financial Services Function, Mirjana S. Ostojić said: "We are extremely pleased that in Kostolac, at the Post of Serbia, we are introducing a new service in cooperation with the Postal Savings Bank in order to make it as comfortable and easy as possible for the clients to apply for credit products and open current accounts. This cooperation represents our dedicated step towards improving the quality and availability of services."
Post Serbia, as its main strategy, sees the expansion of the range of services it will provide to its customers in the coming period, while the synergy strategy with the Postal Savings Bank is the current priority.
The Director of Požarevac Regional Centre of the Postal Savings Bank, Marko Pavlović added: "The promise has been fulfilled and today we have the great honour of opening the first facility of this kind in cooperation with the Post of Serbia in Kostolac, which enables the citizens of Kostolac and surrounding towns not to have to visit Požarevac, but to be able to perform all necessary banking services, such as opening of accounts, cards, quick loans, etc. here in one place. Cooperation with the Post of Serbia is our step towards providing better services, which will significantly facilitate the daily obligations of our customers."
The Post Office, 12208 Kostolac, is located at “Bratstva i jedinstva” Square No. 2 and offers services from Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
