Flowers for the most loyal user of the Post Office18435 Kuršumlijska Banja
On the occasion of the 101st birthday of a long-time user of services from Kuršumlijska Banja, her favourite postman Filip Filipović, on behalf of the Acting Director of PE Post of Serbia Zoran Anđelković, surprised her with flowers.
Ljubica Šejić, whose husband was previously the postmaster in Kuršumlijska Banja, as well as her daughter Slavka Anakijev, have only words of praise for our exceptional colleague, award-winning postman Filip Filipović. They made a request for Filip to remain in the service in this city during the recent visit of the Acting Director of the Post of Serbia, Zoran Anđelković, which was granted.
Colleague Filipović has stood out for more than two decades for his dedicated work at the Post of Serbia, but also for his personal example, kindness and altruism proven on numerous projects of general social importance, providing various types of assistance to the population. He designed numerous programs and was actively involved in improving the living conditions of the residents of Kuršumlijska Banja and the surrounding settlements. For his individual contribution to philanthropy, Filipović was awarded the Virtus award for 2018, in the category of special award for helping the population in rural areas. He also received the Virtus award for 2017, while he was previously awarded with a special plaque in the action of awarding recognition for the kindest achievements in 2011, by the "Večernje Novosti" daily newspaper.
Filip Filipović was featured in numerous articles and reports of the largest domestic media services, contributing to the Public Enterprise “Post of Serbia” being presented to public in the best possible light.
