Meeting with Post Office Employees in the North of Kosovo and Metohija

Acting Director of the Post of Serbia, Zoran Anđelković, held a meeting with employees of post offices in the north of Kosovo and Metohija in Kuršumlijska Banja.

Igor Popović, Assistant Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, spoke about the support of the state and the help of the Office.

Director of the Working Unit "Kosovo and Metohija" and managers and employees from nine closed post offices in last week's illegal action of the so-called Kosovo Police in the north of Kosovo and Metohija, shared their experiences and their view of the current situation.

"I want to say to the Post Office employees in Kosovo and Metohija not to worry about their work status, that the Post of Serbia will always stand by them, and when it comes to the campaign of Kurti's regime, the Office for Kosovo and Metohija clearly announced that all our workers will receive adequate legal assistance and lawyers and everything else that is necessary for their defence and protection. Today, it was also agreed that the mail carriers will do everything to help the citizens of Kosovo and Metohija exercise their rights, first of all, to enable them to receive their pensions, salaries and social benefits," said director Anđelković.

The meeting was attended by Milan Ravić, Director of the Office for Coordination Affairs in the Negotiation Process with the Provisional Self-Government Institutions in Priština, and General Vladimir Lazarević.
