Visit to Niš and Meeting with the Mayor

On a visit to Niš, Acting Director of the Post of Serbia, Zoran Anđelković, discussed future cooperation and needs for new and improved services for citizens with the Mayor Dragana Sotirovski.

Topics of the discussion were the expansion of the network of branch offices with the support of the City of Niš and other opportunities for connection, such as enabling citizens to have insight into the state of their current tax obligations or debt to the Tax Administration of Niš through the system of unified tax payment, as well as issuing copies of tax rulings to their taxpayers at post office counters.

In the postal and logistics centre in this city, which has a regional status, Director Anđelković, together with the executive directors and directors and deputies of the services, postal network and procurement and investment functions, had discussions with the heads of regional and areal units from the south and southeast of the country. As he pointed out, the priorities are the maximum improvement of the Post Express service, the modernization and the widest automation and robotization of all postal centres in the system and the provision of adequate locations for them.

Additionally, there were talks about the state of the postal and commercial services market in this area, half-year results, proposals for improving the provision of services, especially delivery, new technologies and means of work, which will improve the business results of these regions and the entire enterprise.

Anđelković visited the vehicle garage of the Niš Working Unit and spoke with employees who maintain delivery vehicles, then the Main Post Office in Prokuplje.
