Post of Serbia at the jubilee event "Fires of Sava"
Post of Serbia and its team, representatives of the PTT Serbia Trade Union and other colleagues, took part in the 25th "Fires of Sava - Come Down to the River" event at the Sava Quay near the Belgrade Fair.
On the occasion of the great jubilee, the organizers, the Association of Inventors of Serbia and the Holiday Association of Serbia, handed over certificates of gratitude to the Post of Serbia and partners from all over the country. Zoran Anđelković, Acting Director of the Post of Serbia, was presented with a gold medallion with Mihajlo Pupin's image for his long-term cooperation, social responsibility and support to the event.
Traditionally, the event gathers lovers of the Sava River, dedicated to the preservation of nature, the river itself, its beauty, the living world and the coast, and numerous competitive teams, masters in preparing fish soup and athletes, took part in the competitive part of the programme.
In the artistic programme, singing groups and cultural and artistic societies, i.e. folk ensembles performed, among which, as special guests, 60 girls and boys from Kosovo and Metohija, members of the societies "Kosovka devojka" from Babin Most and "Mokra Gora" from Zubin Potok, as well as veterans of the folk ensemble "Đoka Pavlović" of the Post of Serbia.
