Workers' sports games for employees of the Post held at Tara Mountain
After a pause of more than a decade, the Post of Serbia made it possible for its employees to hold the 2024 Tara Workers' Sports Games. From 7 to 10 June, organized by the trade unions operating in the Post, the best placed representatives of the regions competed in 10 individual and group disciplines. Zoran Anđelković, Acting Director of the Post of Serbia, congratulated the winners and presented them with medals and cups, announcing the next Games in October.
The winner in the money counting discipline is Tatjana Đenić, from WU "Pančevo", who won the first place, Biljana Todorović, from WU "Beogradski venac" won the second place, while Jelena Kostić Nedović, from RU "Čačak" won the third place.
In the swimming discipline, the first three places were won by Darko Peslać, WU "Novi Sad", Stefan Ljubević, WU "Beograd centar", and Vladimir Rosić, WU "Kragujevac".
In the cycling discipline, the winner was Bojan Knežević, WU "Novi Sad", while the second and third places were won by Strahinja Mirčetić, RU "Zrenjanin", and Ivan Grujić from RU "Kruševac".
Siniša Remecki, from WU "Novi Sad", is the champion in chess, and second and third place were won by Predrag Pešić, from RU "Leskovac", and Dragan Milić, from WU "Zemun".
In table tennis, the winner was Ljubomir Luka Krstić, from RU "Kragujevac", Saša Saveski, WU "Zemun", was second, while the third place was won by Miroslav Šućurović, from WU "Užice".
In darts, in the women's competition, the best was Milena Kostić, WU "Niš", the second place was won by Jasmina Mihajlović, WU "Beogradski venac", and the third place went to Ivana Đukić, WU "Užice". In the men's competition in the same discipline, the champion is Davor Mesaroš, RU "Kikinda", the second is Marko Eraković, RU "Zaječar", and the third place is taken by Dragan Dugalić, WU "Kraljevo".
In the collective competition, the winners of the relay race were RU "Jagodina", WU "Pančevo" won second place, and the team of the Internal Audit Support Function won third place. WU "Beogradski venac" won the gold medal in volleyball, while RU "Zrenjanin" and WU "Kraljevo" won second and third place. In basketball, WU "Kragujevac" was the best, winning first place, while the teams WU "RPLC Belgrade" and WU "Hybrid post" won silver and bronze medals.
The champion in football is WU "Niš", WU "Jagodina" finished the competition in second place, while RU "Sremska Mitrovica" won third place.
The Post of Srpska national team played a friendly soccer match with the Post of Serbia team, while at the Games in October, as agreed, the Post of Srpska representatives will be equal participants.
During the competition break, the director of the Post of Serbia, Zoran Anđelković, held a working meeting with representatives of the Trade Union PTT Serbia, "Radnik" and the Trade Union PE PTT Traffic Serbia - "Nezavisnost". They discussed plans, proposals for improving the Enterprise’s services, which will enable increased user satisfaction, new jobs and increased income, and thus ensure a better standard for all employees.
