Government of the RS fulfilled all agreement points with the postal unions
Minister of Information and Telecommunications Mihailo Jovanović signed today, on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Annex 3 of the Collective Agreement with the Acting Director of PE Post of Serbia, Zoran Đorđević and representatives of two representative trade unions, Slavko Novakov (“PTT Serbia” Trade Union) and Goran Stefanović (“Worker” Trade Union). The representative of the non-representative trade union "Independence", Snežana Marković, also attended the signing.
Annex 3 of the Collective Agreement for PE Post of Serbia provides an additional salary increase for technology workers in the amount of 10 percent, which makes a cumulative salary increase in the amount of 21%, compared to salaries in technology before November 1, 2023. In addition, this Annex provides for an increase in the salaries of employees in the administration, with the exception of employees in the enterprise’s management, in the amount of 10 percent starting from the January salary.
"With today's signing of Annex 3 of the Collective Agreement, the Government of the Republic of Serbia fulfilled all points of the Agreement on the continuation of work that the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, signed on November 15 last year with representatives of two representative unions, one non-representative union, Acting Director and Chairman of the Supervisory Board. We will continue to hold meetings with the representatives of the management of PE Post of Serbia and trade unions in order to monitor the results of the work of this enterprise, and I expect them to come up with new services in the coming period, increase the profitability of the core business and increase the market share of express services and electronic commerce", Minister Jovanović pointed out.
Let us remind you that in accordance with the Agreement, all employees, except those in management positions, were paid a one-time aid in the amount of twenty thousand dinars on November 23 and 24 last year. The Government's Commission for the Approval of New Employment approved PE Post of Serbia permanent employment for a total of 232 employees on November 28, and additional fixed-term employment for 190 persons on December 26.
Additionally, Annex 2 of the Collective Agreement for PE Post of Serbia signed on December 4 last year defined a salary increase for all technology employees in the amount of 10% starting from November 1, 2023, and the payment of the first increased salary was on December 15, 2023.
