PostEurop delegation in Belgrade: Post of Serbia hosts the General Assembly

The delegation of PostEurop, led by the Secretary General Mr. Botond Szebeny, is on a working visit to the Post of Serbia to prepare for the jubilee, 40th General Assembly of the Association of Public Postal Operators of Europe - PostEurop, which will be held on October 16 and 17 in Belgrade this year.

The representatives of PostEurop started their visit with meetings with the Director of the Post of Serbia, Zoran Đorđević, and the professional services of the Post of Serbia, which will host representatives of as many as 55 public postal operators from 53 countries. Post Serbia and Belgrade were unanimously chosen to host the General Assembly and Business Forum, which represents a great recognition of competence and role in the European postal sector.

PostEurop is today a key player in the European postal sector, with over 175,000 sales points and more than two million employees, who connect over 800 million people every day, and the main goal of this association is to support the development of the postal industry through the implementation of strategic projects of importance to public operators in Europe.

This event will provide the Post of Serbia with an opportunity to demonstrate its commitment to innovation and development of postal services, and is an opportunity to exchange experiences and strengthen international cooperation, which will contribute to strengthening the position of Belgrade and Serbia on the European business map.
