New winners of the "Letter to Santa Claus" award competition announced

The Post of Serbia has announced the winners of the third "Letter to Santa Claus" award competition, which received more than a thousand letters with individual and collective literary and artistic works by December 21. At the Belgrade holiday festival "Winter Fairy Tale", valuable prizes were awarded to the best authors by the Acting Director of the Post of Serbia, Zoran Đorđević and the President of the Writers' Association of Serbia, Miloš Janković.

"Children are a beautiful wonder of the world, incomparable, because they are the most sincere and innocent beings. They teach us to be good, to rejoice in small things and to feel the magic of the world around us. Children remind us of all our unfulfilled dreams and remind us of how we were once ourselves children. They are our hope for the future, they will inherit the world and have the opportunity to make it a better place. Children are our biggest inspiration and the biggest incentive to live life to the fullest, with a smile on our face. That is why we created the “Letter to Santa Claus", said Zoran Đorđević, Acting Director of the Post of Serbia.

The first place was won by David Mitrović (8) from Prilužje near Kosovska Mitrovica, the author of the winning poem "Christmas Fairy Tale", and Jakob Petraš (10) from Selenča, for an extremely precise and detailed drawing of an elaborate composition and bright colors, which strongly evokes the festive atmosphere.
