Philatelic unique marking the Independence Day of the Republic of Poland
Acting Director of the Post of Serbia, Zoran Đorđević, attended the reception on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Poland, at which he presented the host of the evening, H.E. the ambassador of Poland in Serbia, Rafal Perl, the pre-issue of the commemorative postage stamps "World Art Greats: 100 years since the birth of Wisława Szymborska".
Expressing great respect for Polish culture, the Polish people and the Polish state, and above all for the great work of the poet Wisława Szymborska, the Post of Serbia has published a pre-issue of stamps that was made in only one copy, and which therefore represents a philatelic unique.
The pre-issue consists of a sheet of the edition "World Art Greats: 100 years since the birth of Wisława Szymborska", on which, instead of postage stamps, there is material made especially for this occasion related to the Nobel laureate Wisława Szymborska.
The issue of commemorative postage stamps "World Art Greats: 100 years since the birth of Wisława Szymborska" will be published on December 13.
