Post of Serbia denies false information about work suspension in Subotica

PE Post of Serbia informs the public that the information of the Beta news agency about the suspension of the work of 11 permanently employed mailpersons in Subotica is untrue. We are continuously faced with a series of unfounded and incorrect news, and this information is only the latest in the series.

We invite the citizens of Serbia to see for themselves the work of the postal services by checking their mailboxes in the coming days.

Also, we appeal to all the media to act responsibly and not spread unverified and untrue news that harms not only the Post of Serbia, but also citizens, partners and users of our services.

We remind you that an agreement was signed with the representatives of the workers of the Post of Serbia at the meeting in the Government of Serbia last week. The present representatives of the workers, who responded to the invitation addressed to absolutely everyone, presented their views and after several hours of talks, the negotiations were successfully concluded. We hereby thank all our colleagues for the constructiveness and responsibility shown during the negotiations, for the trust shown and for ending the work suspension.

In accordance with the signed agreement, the Post of Serbia will continue the regular six-month dialogue with the highest leadership of the Government of Serbia, and will work on additional improvement of working conditions for all employees.
