Agreement reached with unions of the Post on work stoppage termination

At a meeting in the Government of Serbia, an agreement was reached with the representatives of the workers of the Post of Serbia, based on the agreement signed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, and union representatives.

The agreement agreed on the payment of a one-time aid to all workers, except for the management, in the amount of twenty thousand dinars, no later than 25 November. Salary increase, from 1 November of this year, to all employees in technology, in the amount of 10%. An additional pay increase for technology workers will occur on 1 January, 2024 and will be 10%, making for a cumulative pay increase of 21% over current technology wages.

Also, it was agreed to increase the salary of all employees in the administration, except for the management, by 10%, starting from 1 January, 2024.

At the meeting, an agreement was reached that there will be no sanctioning of workers due to the illegal suspension of work, for all workers who fulfill the agreement on ending the suspension by tomorrow, 16 November at 12 noon. Non-sanctioning includes the payment of part of the salary during the suspension of work, which will be paid with the next salary, together with travel expenses.

In addition, the Government agrees with the hiring of additional workers in technology and a mandatory six-month meeting with the highest management of the Government of Serbia on operations, results and the working atmosphere at the Post of Serbia has been established.

The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Information and Telecommunications, Mihailo Jovanović.
