Đorđević called on the strikers to return to work
Acting Director of the Post of Serbia, Zoran Đorđević, called on the employees who stopped work to return to work and promised that those who worked beyond the norm will receive a reward, and that the strikers will not be punished.
He said that the Government of Serbia approved the payment of the 13th salary to employees of the Post, which everyone received and which amounted to 89,000 dinars.
"We have been working for a long time to make salaries as high as possible, in line with productivity and work efficiency. We need to solve the problems we have together so that it will be a flywheel for increasing the company's income", said Đorđević.
He stated that the suspension of work is the largest in Novi Sad and partially in Belgrade and that he talked with representatives of three unions about finding a solution. "I talked to groups of workers and they returned to work. We also talked about the biggest problem, which is undelivered court letters that have consequences. I made a promise that the most important thing is that they return to work and that the competition does not make money, but the Post of Serbia," Djordjevic said.
He pointed out that it is not good to say that the entire Post is protesting and that it is not good for him even when one worker is protesting, but that "it is not good to spread panic and make it look bigger than it is".
He said that those who wish the company well, if they return to work, will not suffer repression, but that the law must be respected, which states that where there is a violation and where there is no minimum work process, warnings must be served.
"It's not violence, but respect for the law, and if I don't implement it, someone can punish me," said Đorđević.
