Book shipping at the best price ever
At the 66th International Belgrade Book Fair from October 21 to 29, the Post of Serbia is presented for the second time in a row, this time in cooperation with the Association of Writers of Serbia. At the best price so far, 250 dinars per parcel/postal item, in special packaging, the Post will provide simple and reliable delivery of books from the Post’s stand in the arena of Hall 1 of the Belgrade Fair, to any address in the country.
Acting Director Zoran Đorđević spoke today at the Belgrade Fair about the special promo offer and the program of the Post of Serbia.
"The Post of Serbia is always and in every place where our citizens and customers are. We look forward to interacting with them and meeting them again at the 66th Book Fair. The Post wanted to contribute to this prestigious event and offer its visitors a more than favorable fixed price for sending one parcel/postal item anywhere in Serbia, so that all visitors could additionally enjoy the "holiday of the book". We also invite publishers to visit Post’s stand and familiarize themselves with the special benefits for sending items from their online stores via the Post", said Zoran Đorđević.
Đorđević highlighted the cooperation between the Post and the Association of Writers of Serbia, which for the first time will have a stand at the Book Fair that it will share with the Post, and will jointly offer visitors a rich and varied literary and artistic program. Among other things, he added, world-famous names participating in the 60th International Meeting of Writers in Belgrade will present their work, sign books and talk to readers at the Fair.
From the program we highlight: organized by the Writers' Association of Serbia "International Meetings of Writers" on Sunday, October 22 at 12:00 p.m.; Literary matinees - "The youth is coming", "Literary newspapers", "Publishing activity", "Women writers", and "The Little Prince", from Monday, October 23 to Friday, October 27, at 4 p.m.; Promotion of the monographic study "100 years of the PTT Museum" on Wednesday, October 25 at 11 a.m. Creative workshops on postage stamp painting will be led by Miroslav Nikolić, a prominent artist and creator of stamps for the Post of Serbia, from October 23 to October 29 every day starting at 3 p.m., while children's workshops "Little Postal Clock" will be held from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on all days of the Fair.
In the gallery exhibition, the Charter of Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte with the imperial signature, the Charter of Louis XIV with the royal golden seal and the ruler's signature, dedications of the winners of the Goncourt Prize, two dedications by Jacques Préver to the journalist Kosta Dimitrijević, letters of King Milan Obrenović to his son Aleksandar in French, Typewriter of Desanka Maksimović, from the legacy of Žarko Petrović, and other valuable exhibits.
The program takes place at the Post’s stand, in the arena of Hall 1 of the Belgrade Fair. Exhibitors will also have the opportunity to discuss with representatives of the Post about cooperation under more favorable conditions in the segment of delivering books to customers via their online bookstores.
