Recognition of the Belgrade Marathon for the Post
At the ceremony entitled "Heroes of the 36th Belgrade Marathon", the Belgrade Marathon awarded special awards to competitors whose participation and completion of the race represent a special achievement, as well as recognitions to partners for their contribution to the development and tradition of this prestigious sports event that sets new records and raises the standards of the largest sports events manifestation in the country and region.
Executive Director Nebojša Marković, who ran a half-marathon race at the 36th Belgrade Marathon, received the letter of recognition on behalf of Post Serbia, a long-time friend of the Belgrade Marathon.
Director of the "Belgrade Marathon" Darko Habuš said that the promotion of inclusion and equality is a very important segment of the Marathon, and that this year's marathon stood out for its humane character, which is why the idea of starting the "Heroes of the Belgrade Marathon" foundation was born. "As a sign of gratitude for solidarity, courage and support, the partners of the Marathon were awarded, those who stood out with their participation and to whom others can look up, and everyone who made that day special for someone who might not have been able to do it alone," Habuš pointed out.
At this year's 36th Belgrade Marathon, the Post was the sponsor of the competitive race "Post of Serbia Relay Half Marathon", and awarded the winners with plaques and specially designed medals, while 32 colleagues took part in several competitive races.
