The delegation of the Post of Serbia at the Go Green conference in Tallinn
The delegation of the Post of Serbia took part in the Go Green conference, which was organized by PostEurope and was held on 12 June in the capital of Estonia, Tallinn. The method of application of green technologies in the Post of Serbia was presented by Ana Dašić, Director of the Procurement and Maintenance Function, and Dragana Ljumović, Project leader in the Postal Network Function.
On this occasion, the directions for implementing the reduction of CO2 emissions in PE Post of Serbia were presented, and the installation of solar panels in the largest logistics centres of the Post of Serbia in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Niš and Kragujevac was announced. Also, there were conversations on the electrification of the vehicle fleet and green delivery (Green last mile delivery), which involves the consolidation of shipments from different courier service providers, the delivery of shipments by electric vehicles to public parcel machines and smart mailboxes.
The conference in Tallinn was finished with a tour of the postal centre of the national Estonian operator of postal and logistics services - OMNIVA and testing of electric vehicles, after which a tree of friendship was planted.
