Posts of Serbia and Montenegro signed a Protocol on Business Cooperation
The Protocol on business cooperation between PE Post of Serbia and the Post of Montenegro was signed in Podgorica by Zoran Đorđević, Acting Director of the Post of Serbia, and Dragan Tufegdžić, Executive Director of the Post of Montenegro.
Zoran Đorđević, Acting Director of the Post of Serbia, said that the Post of Serbia and the Post of Montenegro are friends, neighbours and collaborators and that they concluded that cooperation should and can be greater for mutual benefit.
"We are ready to start implementing that plan, in which the Protocol that we signed today is important as a fundamental agreement and an umbrella framework. In achieving all the expected results, among which I single out the development of new joint services and logistics capacities, we will be pleased to share experiences in the segments on which the Post of Serbia works intensively, namely the digitalization of services and the development of e-commerce. The ultimate goal is better and faster services, new services tailored according to the needs of customers, an increase in the mutual exchange of postal and other services, but also a better performance on the regional market and a stronger connection of our close peoples and economies", said Zoran Đorđević.
Dragan Tufegdžić, Executive Director of the Post of Montenegro, said that he considers the Protocol only the beginning of intensive cooperation between the two postal administrations. He stated that the Post of Montenegro, after organizational changes in the previous period, started important development projects with the aim of modernizing its operations. He said that there is a similarity between the strategic development projects of both postal administrations and that cooperation is one of the prerequisites for faster and better realization of business goals. He concluded that the exchange of knowledge and experience with colleagues from other postal administrations, and above all, as he said, with dear and close colleagues from the Post of Serbia, can only improve the business processes of the Post of Montenegro and influence the dynamics of development.
The participants of the meeting agreed that the Protocol would encourage business and technical cooperation by exchanging best practices and experiences, professional knowledge and normative solutions, preparation and implementation of joint projects, development of new business solutions and provision of high quality services.
