Acting Director Đorđević and Consul of Belgium on Wider Cooperation
Zoran Đorđević, Acting Director of Post of Serbia and Thomas Maes, Consul and Counsellor at the Embassy of Belgium in Belgrade, met and exchanged opinions as regards wider cooperation between the Post and the Embassy of Belgium.
At the meeting in the seat of the Enterprise, Đorđević briefed Consul Maes on the candidacy of the Post of Serbia for hosting 2024 PostEurope. They also discussed the possibilities that the Post of Serbia, within its business activities, undertakes necessary activities to make it possible for the Belgian citizens who live in Serbia to exercise their right to vote at the next election in Belgium in 2024.
The main meeting topics were the development of innovative services and ICT, implementation of green solutions, business operations reform and social responsibility segment as areas of major possibilities for cooperation expansion, on which platforms for exchange or transfer of knowledge may develop.
Đorđević and Maes concluded that the meeting of representatives of public postal operators of both countries with the organisational support of the Embassy of Belgium would be beneficial for defining areas of common interest and establishment of new business opportunities and projects, to mutual benefit.
