The Ambassador of Cuba as a guest of the Post of Serbia
The guest of the Post of Serbia today was the Ambassador of Cuba, H.E. Gustavo Tristá del Todo, who with the Acting Director of the Post, Zoran Đorđević, discussed the possibilities of cooperation between the national Posts of Serbia and Cuba in the light of the improvement of economic and cultural relations between the two countries.
On November 4, Serbia and Cuba are marking 120 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, and the Post of Serbia is joining the series of events that will mark this significant jubilee by publishing a commemorative philatelic issue on the occasion. This jubilee has a special significance because Serbia was one of the few countries that established diplomatic relations with Cuba since its creation, i.e. the acquisition of independence in 1902.
In addition to discussing the participation of the Post of Serbia in marking the jubilee of diplomatic relations between Serbia and Cuba, Đorđević and Ambassador del Todo also discussed specific areas and potential projects by which the Posts of Serbia and Cuba would contribute to a stronger connection between the economy and the citizens of the two friendly countries.
