Sessions of the board of directors – Zoran Đorđević on new projects
In the Regional Postal and Logistics Centre Belgrade in Zemun, the meetings of the board of directors and the expanded board of directors of the Enterprise were held, where new projects, business results, upcoming tasks and activities were discussed.
Zoran Đorđević, Acting Director of the Post of Serbia, spoke about the first effects of the introduction of parcel machines, whose network will be expanded to all major cities in Serbia based on the positive reactions and great interest of users, to new 400 attractive locations that users themselves have the opportunity to propose.
"In order to meet the needs of users, we have implemented a model of smart round-the-clock postal items delivery." Preparations are underway for the introduction of other state-of-the-art services. With new and already planned investments in means of delivery and procurement of vehicles through leasing, as well as in new technology and state-of-the-art machines for sorting postal items, a significant improvement in services and working conditions of employees will be felt. We also ensured the strengthening of personnel capacities throughout the country. At the same time, we ensure the quality of the most demanding express services, which we provide at the most favourable prices on the domestic market. In order to burden users as little as possible, parcel services in internal postal traffic are provided at favourable and unchanged prices and are twice as cheap as the competition. Fundamental reforms must be continued, they will in the long run enable everything we are striving for now, the development and increase of business income, as well as the constant growth of wages in the Enterprise", said Zoran Đorđević. He also announced a broader action to provide support for new capital projects.
