Đorđević and the China Ambassador About the Cooperation in Postal Activity
Chen Bo, the ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in Belgrade, and Zoran Đorđević, Acting Director of the Post of Serbia, have met and talked about the results in the negotiating process as regards direct cooperation of Serbian and Chinese public postal operators.
Starting from a big potential when speaking about the cooperation of China and Serbia in the field of postal activities, in order to jointly provide the new and even better postal services, the ambassador Chen Bo pointed out that the Embassy of China in Belgrade will provide any necessary assistance in communication between the Posts of these two countries, appropriately supporting the Posts of China and Serbia.
Director Zoran Đorđević said that speeding up of e-commerce flows and provision of smooth delivery of postal items from international postal traffic, especially those generated by e-commerce, present a very important task to which we may respond only through common engagement and in strong partnership, also by assistance of the friendly Republic of China, and through finding new ways and organisation of cooperation, conveying exampes of good practice and looking up to the leaders at the global level, such as China Post.
Chen Bo and Zoran Đorđević expressed their interests for continuation of cooperation in philatelic activities, as well as for promotion of cultural materials by means of PTT Museum of the Post of Serbia. In relation to this, they stressed out the success of the Project of commemorative postal stamp special issue and philatelic exhibition dedicated to the centenary of the Communist Party of China (by the end of last year) for which the ambassador Bo thanked Director Đorđević and the Post of Serbia.
